Hello, I’m Irene Rivera, a user experience designer and researcher from Los Angeles. I studied Interaction Design at Santa Monica College and was a University Innovation Fellow for Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. Additionally, I was a Design Scholar for Snap's Design Academy 2021.
Driven by curiosity, I design and deliver solutions that align with the core motivations and goals of the audience - my end-users and stakeholders alike. You can count on me to dive deep into the research process, interviewing, collecting quantitative data, communicating with empathy, and adapting to whatever changes are necessary to keep user needs and business needs aligned.
Aside from identifying and researching problems to shape meaningful insights, I also love telling compelling stories with data that push towards solutions. I’m obsessed with collaborating with stakeholders and users to conceptualize and suggest impactful solutions.
When I’m not asking the “5 whys” or designing, you can find me playing JamCity mobile games and listening to Chicago house music.
